At present, Tianfu Station has completed the overall upgrade of the station roof steel structure grid, and the prototype of the "Phoenix Skeleton" has begun to take shape. In the next step, it will be fully transferred to the roofing engineering construction and interior decoration stages.It is reported that the entire station will be completed and put into use in 2025, and will become another transportation hub in Chengdu.
The steel structure roof of the elevated floor looks like a lifelike phoenix, about to spread its wings and fly high. The entire steel structure roof "Phoenix Skeleton" weighs more than 16,000 tons, and more than 10,200 tons have been completed.
The Tianfu Station project construction team adopted "single-layer box-type reticulated shell structure construction technology" combined with "external prestressed tensioning technology" and a steel structure health monitoring system to install displacement sensors, pressure sensors, anchors, and oil cylinders in each lifting area. Intelligent sensors ensure that the single-layer reticulated shell roof and steel grid composite structure can effectively control its lateral displacement and overall deformation during lifting, and realize the overall synchronous lifting of large-tonnage, large-span, and large-area ultra-large components at ultra-high altitudes.
